Here’s what I intended to read in May:
Hello Mallory
Little Miss Stoneybrook and Dawn
Jessi’s Secret Language
Mary Anne’s Bad Luck Mystery
Stacey’s Mistake
Claudia and the Bad Joke
Kristy and the Walking Disaster
A Memory Called Empire
Divine Rivals
Fugitive Telemetry
Get a Life, Chloe Brown
The Starless Sea
The Uncommon Reader
Docile
The Daydreamer Detective
I started The Starless Sea and Docile, I haven’t picked up The Daydreamer Detective, Fugitive Telemetry or Get a Life, Chloe Brown, and I made progress on Divine Rivals. I finished all the other books on the list! I read 18 books altogether in May.
For June, I want to read every day, which might be difficult because I will be going on a trip for part of it. I want to specifically read Baking Bad by Kim M. Watt, and I want to read four more 52 Book Club Reading Challenge books. I’m going to specifically target Women in STEM, A grieving character, an omniscient narrator, and Nominated for The Booker Prize prompts. For the Read Harder challenge, I want to try and read seven books: I’m going to try and get through a cozy fantasy, a middle grade horror novel, a middle grade book with a queer main character, a book in translation from a country you’ve never visited, a book recommended by a librarian, and a comic that has been banned. I also want to write a review for every book I read, and I want to also attempt to fix a bunch of outdated parts of my blog.
