Really notable thing about this month is that I learned how to schedule posts and learned that WordPress gives you little badges for posting a certain number of days in a row, and now it is my life’s goal to not break my WordPress streak. Which is why a bunch of my scheduled posts are literally just Writing I Did For School, which is incredibly uninteresting blog work that nobody is reading, BUT it is keeping that streak up. Hopefully as I diversify my content a little bit you will see less and less of Schoolwork On My Blog. Also notable for the fact that I did a lot less mini reviews, but my book reviews didn’t necessarily get longer, I just learned that I could insert the publisher description for the book in my reviews. Since I don’t summarize the book at all in my reviews — basically my thoughts are, you can can get that information elsewhere, and if your’re seeking out a review of a book, you probably already know what it’s about. But that’s not how or why everybody reads book reviews, so I decided that including a summary is actually helpful.
